Jason: We’re on day five here in Ireland and it’s rained nearly everyday. The showers come and go but are pretty harse when in full force. So we’ve gotten rather soaked throughout much our Irish trip so far.
Today was another one of these rainy days here in the Galway area. And rather then walk downtown we decided to talk a road trip w/ the rent-a-car to the small coastly town of Clifden. The weather actually started off pretty good- we saw a rainbow and at one point I was wearing my sunglasses. But the weather turned for the worse and we got soaked while walking from shop to shop.
At this point I’d had enough of rain soaked sneakers so when we spotted a sports/fishing tackle shop I made a mad dash. The store was very unorganized, so I got a pretty down but a nice Irish lad ask me if I needed help. And about 15 mins. later I purchased myself some wellies made by a Scottish company named Hunter.
If folks don’t know what wellies are then obviously they haven’t been to England, Scotland or Ireland – where it rains ALL THE TIME! They’re basically this reigons version of cowboy boots. Well… they may not be as fashoinable as cowboy boots but they WILL keep your feet dry when the weather turns wet.

You are gonna look so sweet in your “WELLIES”.
Cowboy boots? Those don’t look so much like shit-kickers as something you’d use to wade through the stuff.
