Mac & Cheese

1 1/2 cup of elbow macaroni
3 tablespoon butter or margarine
2 tablespoon of flour
1/2 teaspoon salt & pepper
2 cups of milk
1/4 cup of chopped onion
12 ounce grated sharp cheddar cheese

Cook elbow macaroni – drain. Sauce: In saucepan, melt butter or margarine. Blend in flour, salt & pepper. Add milk – cook & stir until thick & bubbly. Add onion & cheddar cheese Stir until melted. Mix sauce with macaroni. Put in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish and bake at 350 for 35-40 min
